JSX Will Add 2 New Seasonal Florida Routes From Westchester

HARRISON, NY — One of Westchester County Airport's newest and most unique air carriers will offer seasonal "semi-private" flights to Boca Raton and Miami/Opa-locka, beginning in December.

JSX announced that it is adding service from Westchester County Airport to both Boca Raton and Miami/Opa-locka.

The routes are expected to begin on December 21, with both routes operating five weekly round trips on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, according to the JSX website.

"Our new flights to Boca Raton... offer customers much-needed peace of mind so they can focus on the festivities of the season and not the burdens of congested airports and unreliable airlines," JSX CEO Alex Wilcox told Travel + Leisure. "Bypassing New York City and South Florida's most congested airports brings an entirely new and attainable level of convenience and connectivity to travelers ready to fall in love with flying again."

Fares will range from $689-$1099 for one-way, according to the JSX website, and will include at least two checked bags (weight/size restrictions apply), free in-flight Wi-Fi, onboard cocktails, hot towel service and business-class legroom in the 30-seat jets. Customers may check in just 45 minutes before their flight from JSX’s private terminal located at Atlantic Aviation (West), at 67 Tower Road in West Harrison.

The semi-private public charter jet service, JSX, expanded its East Coast network with new flights for the first time this summer, linking Hudson Valley travelers to three new vacation destinations with all of the perks of flying private, but without the hefty price tag.

New round-trip flight service on JSX rolled out in June from Westchester County (HPN) to Nashville (BNA), alongside new seasonal flight service to Portland, Maine (PWM) and Martha’s Vineyard (MVY).

JSX also started offering its first-ever flights from Miami/Opa-locka (OPF) to Marsh Harbour (MHH) in the Bahamas, starting on Dec. 14, and the plane will start its journey from Westchester County (HPN) with a quick stop in Miami.
