Kilo Of Cocaine, Ecstasy And Xanax Pills Seized After Weekslong Narcotics Probe: Police

A White Plains couple was arrested in connection to the sting prompted by drug activity in West Harrison, according to police.

HARRISON, NY — A White Plains couple was arrested in connection to a weekslong narcotics investigation in Harrison.

On July 15, the Harrison Police Department arrested 48-year-old Ida Lucas, of White Plains, following a five-week narcotics investigation police say was prompted by drug activity in the West Harrison area.

On the day she was arrested, Lucas was seen driving in downtown Harrison, where officers stopped her car. A search found more than a kilogram of suspected cocaine, along with additional controlled substances including ecstasy and Xanax, police said.

Lucas was charged with three counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, and felony possession of a weapon.

The next day, Harrison police arrested 56-year-old Erik Drago, also of White Plains, and the boyfriend of Lucas.

Drago was stopped by police because he was driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, according to officers. During the stop, Harrison police officers found what appeared to be crack cocaine inside the vehicle. He was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
