Monthlong Closure Of 1 Lane Starts On Hutchinson River Parkway

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — A southbound lane of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County will be closed for construction through the end of May, starting on Monday.

The New York State Department of Transportation said one lane is scheduled to close along the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound, between Exit 14 (State Route 127) in Harrison and Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale, on weekdays beginning Monday, April 24, through Thursday, May 25.

The roadwork is expected to take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting, according to the agency.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
