More Hutchinson River Parkway Lane Reductions Overnight Thursday

The good news is that the roadwork isn't planned during morning or evening rush hours, according to the NYSDOT.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The Hutch might be a little trickier than usual Thursday night.

The NYS Department of Transportation announced that the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 16 (State Route 120) and Exit 15 (Cross Westchester Expressway) in the Town of Harrison, for roadway work.

The work will take place from 11 p.m. on Thursday, until 5 a.m. on Friday morning, weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
