Central Westchester Catholic Schools Plan Celebrations and Community Service Events

Mark your calendars! National Catholic Schools Week – the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States – starts January 30 and continues through February 5. The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2022 is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”

Central Westchester Catholic Schools will observe this special week with community service projects, prayer services, and a host of fun activities for students of all ages including “pig” races, pajama days, and game show style quizzes. All of the events are designed to highlight the spirit of community present in today’s Catholic schools and to focus on the value that Catholic education provides to families and to their communities.

On January 31 – during Catholic Schools Week – enrollment at Central Westchester Regional Catholic Schools for the 22-23 school year opens. Families who are accepted and enroll prior to May 6, 2022 will save $100 per child in registration fees.

The Central Westchester Catholic School Region of the Archdiocese of New York consists of 11 Regional and nine parish/private elementary schools serving some 6,000 students in UPK /preschool to grade eight. Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York offer a unique combination of academic and spiritual development that empowers children of all backgrounds to gain the confidence to realize their fullest potential.
