In early 2023, the Harrison Police Department purchased epinephrine medication. The training division, in collaboration with Harrison EMS, trained all of the department's officers on the identification and application of epinephrine.

"Patrol officers carry epinephrine daily alongside a defibrillator because we understand the value of early intervention in these cases," the department said.
