• Wegmans uses facial recognition in Norwalk, not in Harrison (westfaironline.com) — Harrison shoppers may be relieved to know Wegmans is not using facial recognition technology at its local store, even though the chain does use it in higher‑risk locations like Norwalk and New York City. Company officials say only a small fraction of stores use the system, which targets previously flagged individuals, and emphasize safeguards, training, and limits on how long images are kept.
   

• Mildred Patton (tworivertimes.com) — Harrison remembers Mildred “Millie” Patton, who was born in town in 1935 and graduated from Harrison High School before building a long career and a large, close-knit family. Loved for her Italian cooking, constant caring “worry,” and generosity, she is fondly recalled as the heart of her family, whose legacy continues through her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren.
