Police: Unlicensed Solicitor Cited

Harrison Police cited a magazine solicitor this week for violating the town's local ordinance banning door-to-door sales without a license.
A homeowner on Highland Ridge Lane called police at about 6 p.m. on June 26 to report a woman selling magazines who became "loud and belligerent" after a sales pitch was turned down. Police say they found the woman nearby selling magazines in the residential area.
Police say the solicitor, 32, had not applied for a license to sell in Harrison.
