Purchase and West Harrison are hosting farmers markets this year.

There was even talk this winter of bringing a third market downtown, if things go well in West Harrison, sometime in the future.

Yesterday we asked readers how concerned they are about flooding. The overall response? People are very concerned.

Of the 27 people who cast their vote yesterday, 87 percent said flooding is a major problem and something needs to be done. Some, 11 percent, said it is something the town board needs to consider. Only 3 percent said they weren't even aware of the problem.
