Several Roads Still Impassable Because of Flooding

Four local roads are still closed in some spots Sunday night, as flooding continues to cause transportation problems.

As of 4 p.m. the following intersections are closed:

• Union Avenue and Nelson Avenue
• Genesee Trail and Shawnee Trail 
• Park Avenue and the Rye Line
• Oak Avenue and Park Avenue

There is no timetable for when the roads will open again, according to police. The Hutchinson River Parkway also remains closed through Harrison, according to Westchester.gov.

Motorists should avoid these areas until further notice.
