Stolen BMW Linked To 'Suspicious Activity' Triggers Harrison Chase
A resident of West St. called 911 to report that two masked men had entered their open garage and were attempting to steal a car.
HARRISON, NY — A BMW linked to a brazen home invasion and car theft led police on a car chase, after they foiled a similar crime, according to officials.
Monday morning, shortly after 10:3o a.m., Harrison police were alerted that a stolen 2021 BMW X5 had entered the jurisdiction on Union Ave., near West St. The BMW was stolen on December 3, from a residence in Nassau County, after the suspects brazenly entered an occupied home and removed the vehicle’s keys, police said.
Several marked and unmarked Harrison police cars were dispatched to the area in an attempt to locate the stolen car.
