Traffic Alert: Hutch Lane Closures Scheduled This Week

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The weather might not be the only thing slowing down Westchester drivers this week.

The right southbound lane of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County will be closed daily.

The New York State Department of Transportation said the right lane of the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound is expected to close between Exit 16 (State Route 120/Purchase Street) in Harrison and Exit 5A (Sanford Boulevard) in Pelham Manor. The closures will start Monday and continue through Friday.

The scheduled roadwork will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
