Traffic Alert: More Hutch Lane Closures Over Next 2 Weeks

The closures will be necessary for sign inspections, but are not scheduled during the morning or evening rush hours.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is alerting drivers about possible delays over the next two weeks.

There will be single and double lane closures along the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County for sign inspections.

The NYSDOT said that single and double lane closures are expected northbound and southbound on the Hutch between Exit 14 (State Route 127) and Exit 16 (State Route 120) in the Town of Harrison. The closures will start Monday, June 13 and continue through Thursday, June 16, between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

There will also be one lane closed in both directions between Exit 12 (Mamaroneck Road) in the Town of Scarsdale and Exit 15 (Interstate 287) in the Town of Harrison, beginning Monday, June 20 until Thursday, June 23, between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
