Traffic Alert: New Hutch Lane Closures Scheduled This Week

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The NYSDOT is giving commuters yet another reason to dread leaving the comforts of working from home and returning to the office.

Northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County will be closed daily for construction work this week.

The New York State Department of Transportation said northbound lanes of the Hutch are expected to close between Exit 12 (Mamaroneck Road) in Scarsdale and Exit 14 (State Route 127/North Street) in Harrison. The closures will start Monday and continue through Friday.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
