UPDATE: Flood Victims Identified As Iona Professors
The college said the computer science professors never made it home from classes they taught on Wednesday night.

HARRISON, NY — County Executive George Latimer confirmed the identity of two people swept away in overnight flooding.
The couple believed to have been lost when their car was inundated by floodwaters has been identified as Frances and Kenneth Baile. Both are computer science professors at Iona College in New Rochelle.
Harrison police have confirmed that Kenneth Baile was among the first Storm Ida-related deaths. Frances Baile is still missing.

On Thursday, shortly before 2 a.m., Harrison police received a report of a missing elderly Rye Brook couple. The emergency call set off an intensive search of the area. The search led to an unoccupied vehicle on a guide rail, pinned against a utility pole at Lincoln Avenue and Brookside Way in Purchase.
The Blind Brook Creek had earlier surged beyond the creek banks and onto Lincoln Avenue where the vehicle was located.

The body of one person was found approximately one-quarter mile from the vehicle on a creek bank. Police are still searching for the other occupant of the car, as of Thursday evening.
The Rye Brook Police Department, the Westchester County Police Aviation Unit, the New York State Police Underwater Recovery Team, a New York State Police cadaver canine, the Purchase Fire Department, and Harrison EMS are assisting with the search.
