Cops: Drunken Driver Arrested in Hauppauge with Twins in Car
Woman charged with DWI after police say she was drunken driving with her daughters in the vehicle.

Police say they found a Nesconset woman drunk at the wheel in Hauppauge with her 5-year-old twin daughters in the car on Sunday.
Danielle Ferrante was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after police say they found her sitting in a parked, running 2006 Mitsubishi in the parking lot of Shop Rite, located at 335 Route 347, at 1:40 a.m.
After interviewing Ferrante, police determined she was intoxicated. Ferrante had her 5-year-old daughters in the car with her, police said.
She will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip. The children were released to the custody of their father.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
