Harold's Hoops For Hope To Host Hauppauge Event For Suicide Prevention, Awareness
The event will feature a simulator tournament of soccer, football and dodgeball, as well as a silent auction, live auction, and raffles.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Harold Teller, founder of Harold's Hoops for Hope, is set to host a charity event in Hauppauge.
The event is scheduled 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 15 at Simplay Indoor Golf Simulator with Multisport, at 180 Commerce Drive, Hauppauge. Hoops for Hope will be raising awareness for suicide prevention.
Teller will have a simulator tournament of soccer, football and dodgeball. There will be a silent auction, a live auction, raffles and merchandise sales, with proceeds going to suicide prevention and mental health.

The charity anticipates the attendance of State Sen. Mario Mattera, Huntington Town Councilwoman Theresa Mari, State Assemblyman Keith Brown, Super Bowl Champion Gary Brown, St. Joseph's college athletes, Long Island Nets representatives, trainers, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Hoop Dreams, Youth Dreams, East Fitness Long Island and Town of Huntington Board Members.
Teller has heard Harold's Hoops for Hope's message is reaching people from Long Island, New York City, upstate New York, New Jersey, Boston and Chicago.
