ISLANDIA, NY — Jake's 58 Casino reopened Friday morning after a New York state-wide service disruption had plagued its operations since Tuesday, the casino announced.

"Jake's 58 Casino in Islandia has reopened for business!" Phil Boyle, president and CEO of the Suffolk OTB, which operates the casino, told Patch. "We are excited to welcome our players back and to provide our loyal customers with the entertainment experience they have come to enjoy."

Everi, the licensed operator of New York's video lottery gaming central system, was disrupted on Tuesday, according to the New York State Gaming Commission. The cybersecurity event is under investigation. Operations at Resorts World Hudson Valley were also disrupted, according to the commision.

"The Commission has no indication that personal identifiable information was compromised," the commission stated. "The Commission continues to monitor the situation."
