Man Committed Lewd Act At Walmart In Suffolk: Police
The man committed the act while strolling the aisles of Walmart and was arrested, police say.
ISLANDIA, NY — A man was arrested and charged with public lewdness at an Islandia store on Thursday, Suffolk police said.
Daniel Peralta, 20, of Central Islip, was performing a lewd act while walking in aisles in Walmart, at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 4:37 p.m., police said. He was detained by Walmart security who called police, police said.
Peralta was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.

"Anyone who has information about this incident or believes they could be a victim is asked to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS," the department wrote.
