Man Destroyed Equipment At Hauppauge Gas Station: Police

The man cut the hoses on two air pumps at QuickChek and is wanted for criminal mischief, police say.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, destroyed equipment at a Hauppauge gas station in November.

A man cut the hoses on two air pumps at QuickChek, at 648 Motor Parkway, around 7:30 a.m. Nov. 24, police said. He drove away in a silver vehicle, police said. He is wanted for criminal mischief.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
