Man Shot In Islandia Seriously Injured: Police
A man was shot twice in the parking lot of Jake's 58 Casino Hotel, police say.
ISLANDIA, NY — A man was shot twice and seriously injured in the parking lot of Jake's 58 Casino Hotel on Friday night, Suffolk police said.
A 38-year-old Wyandanch man was in the parking lot of Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel, at 3635 Express Drive North, when he was approached by a person and shot twice, police said. The shooter fled the parking lot, police said. The man who was shot entered the casino, where 911 was called at 10:18 p.m., police said.
The man was brought to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
