Man Slashed At Hauppauge Restaurant: Police

Detectives are looking for photos, video or information related to the slashing, police say.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, slashed a man in a Hauppauge restaurant in January.

A man was slashed with a knife during a fight at Capicu Restaurant, at 160 Adams Avenue, around 4:35 a.m. Jan. 1, police said. Detectives are looking for photos, videos or information related to this incident. The slasher is wanted for assault.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
