Marilyn Lichtman Foundation Grants $10,000 to Head Injury Association

Donation to Support Organization's Art and Music Therapy Program

Hauppauge-based not-for-profit organization, the Head Injury Association, recently received a $10,000 grant from the Marilyn Lichtman Foundation. The funds are being allocated to support its Creative Arts Enhancement Program to provide music and art therapy for the people they support who are survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Head Injury Association is a part of the Kinexion Network, Long Island's largest not-for-profit organization employing 3,200 staff members and providing services to approximately 6,500 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
