Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care joined forces to make a difference for Long Island neighbors on Giving Tuesday this year. The team volunteered at Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank, packing boxes of food for neighbors in need.

For 10 years, Northwell Health-GoHealth has been a vital part of the Long Island community, with 37 centers in Nassau and Suffolk Counties providing on-demand care when and where people need it. The team was proud to work with Long Island Cares, which distributes more than 10 million pounds of food every year to benefit people in Nassau and Suffolk counties, supporting those in need this holiday season.
Giving Tuesday is a global movement that promotes generosity, encouraging people to give, collaborate, and celebrate kindness. The first Giving Tuesday, held on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day (U.S.) in 2012, was created to inspire acts of goodwill. The movement invites us to contribute our time, talent, or treasure, reminding us that every act of generosity, no matter how small, plays a part in building a better world for all.
