2 Tourists Arrested For Taking Selfies On Brooklyn Bridge
The 20-year-old Australian men had climbed up on the high beam to get a better shot, cops said.

BROOKLYN BRIDGE, NEW YORK — Two Australian tourists, both 20-year-old men, were arrested on Wednesday afternoon after taking dangerous selfies on the high beams overlooking the highway of the Brooklyn Bridge, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
While walking east on the bridge toward the Brooklyn side at around 1:30 p.m., the two men climbed up onto the high beams to get better selfie shots, cops said. Once up high, they were ordered by the police to cross over to the pedestrian walkway, where they were arrested, cops confirmed.

The tourists were taken into custody, and they were awaiting charges Wednesday night, the NYPD said.
