1. The race for Brooklyn Borough President is heating up. Democratic nominee Antonio Reynoso faces three challengers, including a Republican, the Voices for Change and Rent Is 2 Damn High third parties. Patch is planning on profiling all of them - here's the first profile on Reynoso. His biggest priorities: pandemic recovery, "housing affordability and access to quality public education." 2. There's a new ghost tour of Brooklyn this year. Madame Morbid's Trolley Tours takes passengers on an adventure through their own neighborhoods as they uncover little know facts and trivia. 3. The average asking rent in Brooklyn Heights is reportedly $289 cheeper than it was pre-pandemic. This data is based on a recent report by StreetEasy. (AM New York)
4. The New York Cannabis Board issued a ruling allowing New Yorkers to grow up to six medicinal marijuana plants in their houses. While medicinal marijuana has been legal in the state since 2014, it hasn't been easy to obtain or plant. (Gothamist)
