BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — A Brooklyn Heights man was robbed of more than $13,800 in cash and watches from his apartment in late February, police said. He was on vacation between Feb. 21 and 23, and sometime in that time frame, a thief stole a Rolex, tudor watch, Sothis watch, MacBook Pro, iPhone and charges, passport and $300 in cash from his home, according to a police report filed Feb. 24.

The burglary occurred at 51 Remsen St. and totaled $13,815 in stolen property, cops said.

A rash of burglaries occurred in December and in January just blocks away from the Remsen Street one, prompting officers in the 84th precinct to issue warnings to locals to lock their windows and hide their valuables.
