Brooklyn Man, 77, Found Dead Inside Apartment: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY - A 77-year-old Brooklyn man was found dead inside his apartment near the Columbia Street waterfront, authorities said.

The body was discovered at 97 Kane St. as police officers were conducting a wellness check inside the man’s home just before noon Tuesday, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.

It was not immediately clear if the death is being investigated as suspicious.

No additional information was provided as of Tuesday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
