1. A new exhibition at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition's space in Red Hook takes a closer look at the five elements (water, fire, earth, wind and sky). Members of BWAC are concerned about how the city's plans to protect Red Hook from storm surges might affect their neighborhood, especially the most vulnerable parts of it. Fifty percent of the show's proceeds will go towards supporting Ukraine. (Brooklyn Paper)
2. Hundreds marched across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan's Foley Square on Wednesday, in recognition of Denim Day. Raising awareness about sexual assault and harassment, many survivors told their own personal stories. (amNY)
3. A Brooklyn Heights brownstone on Cranberry Street built in 1829 that played a staring role in the 1987 film 'Moonstruck' was sold for $11 million. (New York Post )
