Here are the top three stories today in Brooklyn Heights-DUMBO:

  1. Blank Street Coffee Shop is live on Montague Street! So is Din Sum Dumplings, and Brooklyn Farm, with BK Lobster, Mad For Chicken, and loads more small businesses on the way. Here's a guide to everything coming to the once beleaguered street. Open Streets are slated to start on Saturdays in May. (Brooklyn Bridge Parents)
  2. Facade work is concluding at 200 Montague Street, a soon-to-be 20-story residential building at the border of Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn, which takes the place of a former bank. The building's dark exterior seems to blend in well with the surrounding area. (New York YIMBY)
  3. Drink Up, Brooklyn! Park Slope's Winner's Bakery is planning to open an outpost in the Prospect Park Picnic House that will serve alcohol. "Winner in The Park" is expected to open its doors in early May. (Patch)
