  1. Former Mayor Bill de Blasio is mulling a run for Congress in the newly-gerrymandered 11th district, which extends from Park Slope and Gowanus to Staten Island, according to multiple sources. (Brooklyn Paper)
  2. There's no Manhattan-bound train service this weekend at either High Street or Jay Street. Next week during overnight hours Manhattan-bound Q trains will be replacing N trains at Court Street. (Brooklyn Heights Blog)
  3. A coalition of neighbors would like to compromise with the developers of the Grand Prospect Hall site. They propose, now that it's evident the site won't be landmarked, increasing the height while allowing for a community facility in the first floor, or even developing green space across the street.
