Brooklyn Heights Panel To Discuss Parks And Equality
A candid discussion at the historical society on March 22 will explore the question of whether parks serve every New Yorker equally.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Are parks really for everyone to use, or just a select few? A discussion about public parks and whom they really serve in New York City will be held at Brooklyn Historical Society on March 22 to dive more deeply into what New Yorkers think about the issue.
Tupper Thomas, former Executive Director of New Yorkers for Parks, will serve as moderator for a discussion with Ford Foundation President Darren Walker, former Brooklyn Bridge Park President Regina Myer and Brooklyn Deputy Borough President Diana Reyna. The discussion is promised to be a candid one about parks, equity and the relationship between the two for NYC residents.
