Sponsored by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, the Van Alen Institute and Two Trees Management, the installation is best seen after sunset. - In May and June, St. Ann's Warehouse will present the U.S. premiere of the play "Who Killed My Father?" which is a "defiant rewrite of the recent political and social history of France," told through the lens of a tragic death. It is a "polemical and rebellious outcry against the neglect, exclusion and physical violence of a class-ridden society." It definitely does not sound kid-friendly. (Broadway World)
- A new city rule will require all new development and re-development projects in flood-prone areas to store greater amounts of stormwater on-site, so as not to overwhelm the sewer systems.
