Here are the top three stories in Brooklyn Heights-DUMBO today:

  1. The Brooklyn and Queens G train is set to get a systems upgrade over the next four or so years, with newer cars replacing the current ones dating from the 1980s. The line could also see more frequent service, although trains are expected to stick with their current four-car configuration. (New York Daily News)
  2. Construction is complete at 168 Plymouth Street in DUMBO, according to YIMBY. The project was the renovation of a 10-story building once home to the 102-year-old Concrete Daylight Factory. (New York YIMBY)
  3. Council Member Lincoln Restler reports a water main break on Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights, which left 12 households without water Monday, and created "minor flooding" on parts of the BQE. Stay safe out there! (Twitter)
