2. An indoor biking and skateboarding facility just opened up in Quay Towers, near Brooklyn Bridge Park. Geared towards younger children, the space, called Bikes, Boards, and Books, is supposed to be the ideal place to learn to ride, either solo or with an instructor. (TimeOut NY)

After defending countless tenants across the city against their landlords, the Legal Aid Society is suing its own Downtown Brooklyn landlord on Livingston Street, demanding $2 million in damages for moldy conditions at the offices that employees say have persisted for the past two years without being properly addressed.
