Man Attacked On A Train In Brooklyn Heights, Police Say

The 54-year-old victim was assaulted on a Manhattan-bound A train near the Jay Street station, police said.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — A man was attacked by another passenger while riding a Manhattan-bound A train at a Brooklyn Heights stop, police said.

The 54-year-old victim was riding the train on Nov. 20 when an unidentified man started to attack him at the Jay Street station at about 12:30 p.m., the NYPD said.

The attack left the victim with swelling and redness to his face, police said.

The suspect was described by police as a 6-foot 3-inch tall, 200 pound man in his twenties last seen wearing a black coat, gray hat, blue jeans and multi-colored sneakers.
