Man Slashed In Neck At Downtown Brooklyn IHOP, Police Say

The 39-year-old man was assaulted by two people inside the IHOP at 253 Livingston St. on March 25, police said.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — A 39-year-old man was slashed in the neck inside a Downtown Brooklyn IHOP after getting into an argument with two people, police said.

The victim was inside the IHOP at 253 Livingston St. on March 25 at about 4:02 p.m. when he got into an argument with the two men, the NYPD said. One of the attackers then stabbed him in the right side of the neck with an unknown object while the other threatened him with a baseball bat.

The pair fled the restaurant on foot westbound on Livingston Street, authorities said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Police described the first suspect as between 20 to 30 years old last seen wearing a white sweater vest, dark jeans, black sneakers and a Yankee hat. The second is a 20 to 30 years old man last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black pants and a backward black baseball hat.
