Poop-Smeared 2 Train Found By Riders In Downtown Brooklyn
The feces covered subway car caused delays on Monday morning's commute after it was spotted in the Borough Hall station, officials said.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — Straphangers at the Borough Hall station on Monday morning were in for a smelly commute after a rider smeared feces all over the outside of two 2 train cars, officials said.
Riders spotted the poop covered subway at about 10 a.m. as it pulled into the Borough Hall station in Downtown Brooklyn then alerted the conductor of the mess, the MTA said.
"We are completely disgusted and we have no idea why anyone would do this to their fellow New Yorkers, said Jon Weinstein, spokesman for the MTA. "The cars were immediately removed from service and cleaned."

Passengers on the train reported that the conductor let them know exactly the reason for the delays. Twitter users reported the worker told them on the intercom "We are evacuating the train as it’s been reported two train cars contain feces."
Yayyy @MTA 2/3 9:38am “we are evacuating the train as it’s been reported two train cars contain feces”. Glorious

My 2 train just went out of service due to ”unsanitary conditions” which we later learned meant two cars were “covered in feces” so that’s how my morning is going

The poop train is the second unusual contributor to the regular subway delays this year. In February, A trains were snarled after a man threw a chair on the tracks, forcing workers to turn off the power to get rid of it.
