Residents and small business owners in DUMBO are worried about the long-term effects of climate-changed induced flooding in their neighborhood, after witnessing up to seven inches of water from Hurricane Henri–despite having preventative measures in place since Superstorm Sandy. 2. Eric Adams and some members of City Council want to see a return of propane heaters for outside dining at restaurants this winter. De Blasio has sought to ban the heaters, stating that they pose an inherent fire hazard — despite them having not caused any injuries over the past year, according to the fire department. (NYC Patch)
