Subway Surfer Arrested In Downtown Brooklyn Slashing: Police
A Clinton Hill man with a penchant for train-hopping was collared for slashing another man at the Jay Street station.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — A Clinton Hill man known for subway surfing was arrested for slashing a straphanger last month in Downtown Brooklyn, the NYPD said Wednesday.
Isaiah Thompson, 22, was charged with assault for allegedly slicing open another man's arm on July 24 amid an argument on a mezzanine at the Jay Street A and C stop, police said.
Thompson fled up to the street after cutting the 49-year-old victim, who refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The alleged slashing came just two weeks after Thompson was collared July 10 for hopping on the outside of a moving northbound C train in Brooklyn, the NYPD said — a stunt that was captured on a viral Instagram video.
Thompson had been arrested three other times since September 2017 and charged with offenses including reckless endangerment, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, online court records show.

Cops nabbed him for hopping on trains four times last year, the New York Daily News reported in July.
Classic NYC craziness. Why ride inside the car when you can level up your urban surfing skills? Had to post the full video to prove he was still alive at the end. . . . . #urbansurfing #commute #mta #subwaycreatures #subway #grip #steez #skills #brooklyn #ctrain #goingyourway #clintonhill #justanormalday #entertainment #danger #dontrythisathome #prosonly #wild #gottago #subwaysurfer #subwaysurfing #skylarking @humansofny @subwaycreatures
