Suspects on the Loose After Shooting in Front of DUMBO Youth Center
The shooting occurred in broad daylight Thursday in front of a center that helps children from underserved communities.
DUMBO, BROOKLYN — Police are asking for the public's help in finding two people who on Thursday afternoon shot two people in broad daylight in front of a youth club in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.
According to police, the two suspects shot an 18-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman in the leg in front of the Madison Square Girls & Boys Club on Nassau St at around 12:20 p.m.
The club offers children of underserved New York City communities academic training, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities.

The two victims were in stable condition; the man was taken to Methodist Hospital, and the woman was taken to NYU Medical Center, according to the cops.
The police describe the suspects as both black men, one wearing a red hoodie and the other wearing a blue hoodie. They fled the scene west and then north toward 177 Sands St, the NYPD said.
