- When a Brooklyn Heights couple noticed in 2019 that one of their favorite neighborhood digs, Vineapple Café, was planning to close, they decided to take matters into their own hands, literally. Aubrie Therrien and Zac Rubin, the owners of a restaurant in Little Italy, bought the Brooklyn Heights establishment, reopening it in the summer of 2020. Today, Vineapple 2.0 is alive and thriving. - Here's the story behind Legacy, DUMBO, a record store built out of the personal collection of three friends of Caribbean descent.
