Worker Knocked Unconscious In Accident At Brooklyn High-Rise: FD
A construction accident at the 57-story skyscraper on Hoyt Street left one worker unconscious Monday morning, FDNY officials said.
DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — A construction worker was knocked unconscious after an accident at a Hoyt Street skyscraper on Monday morning, the FDNY said.
Emergency responders rushed to 11 Hoyt Street at 10 a.m. to find the worker unconscious. They were still at the 57-story luxury apartment building around 10:30 a.m. with the man, an FDNY spokesman said.
The spokesman was unsure about exactly how the worker was injured, but said it appears he had fallen from, or was hit by, an elevator in the building.

The building where the accident happened is a 620-foot tower that will offer 481 homes when it is done. The structure topped out last month.
