3 New Assistant Principals Join Hicksville Middle School

HICKSVILLE, NY — Hicksville Middle School has named three new assistant principals.

Zeny Rodriguez is a veteran of Hicksville schools, having joined the community more than 20 years ago. She started as a middle school science teacher in 2002, before heading to Hicksville High School where she remained until June.

Vinh Nguyen- Horan comes to Hicksville from Brooklyn where she was an assistant principal at I.S. 278 in Marine Park for the past five years.

Jonathan Silkowitz has been an educator for more than 20 years across Long Island. He was an administrator at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School and until recently served as an assistant principal at Selden Middle School in Centereach. Silkowitz anticipates that in the next year, he'll complete his Doctor of Education in Education Leadership from Concordia University.
