Hicksville Earns Music Education Distinction For 10th Straight Year

HICKSVILLE, NY — For the 10th year in a row, the Hicksville Public Schools have been singled out for their music education.

The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation picked Hicksville as Best Community for Music Education for its dedication to high-quality music instruction. The district was also recognized for its commitment to the arts as an essential part of a well-rounded education.

Hicksville joins an elite group of districts that consistently prioritizes and invests in musicas a vital component of student development.

"Receiving this honor for 10 years in a row is a testament to the dedication of our music educators, the support of our administration and Board of Education, and the passion of our talented student musicians and the entire Hicksville community," said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ted Fulton.
