Hicksville Fire Department Swears In New Commissioner, Chief

HICKSVILLE, NY — The Hicksville Fire Department swore in its newly elected commissioner and chief at a New Year's Day ceremony. Thomas Ofenloch and Gary Lewis were sworn into the positions at Station No. 1, as were assistant chiefs Christopher Moskos and Joseph DiFronzo. Third Assistant Chief Chris Wright did not attend the ceremony.

Nassau County Legislator Rose Marie Walker, who is a member of the Hicksville Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary, attended the ceremony.
