Hicksville HS Music Students To Perform In Prestigious Ensemble
Samantha Mason and Brandon Baade have been selected to the prestigious National Association for Music Education All-Eastern Music ensemble.
HICKSVILLE, NY — Hicksville High School music students Brandon Baade and Samantha Mason have been selected to participate in the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-Eastern Music ensemble.
The ensemble is made up of the top high school musicians from across the northeastern United States. These select students will be performing at the 2023 NAfME Eastern Division Conference in Rochester from April 13 -16.
Both seniors have demonstrated exceptional skill on their instruments, and have been dedicated members of the Hicksville High School band program for several years.

“This selection is a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft and love of music,” said the district's Supervisor of Fine Arts Chad Wyman. “Next year while in college, Brandon and Samantha will both be majoring in music, so this honor is what I can only imagine will be one of many.”
