Pre-K Lottery Being Held For Hicksville Youngsters
The lottery is open until Feb. 9 for placement in the 2024-2025 school year.
HICKSVILLE, NY — The Hicksville Public School District has announced a full-day pre-kindergarten program for the 2024-2025 school year.
To participate, children must be 4 years prior to Dec. 1, 2024, with a birthdate between Dec. 2, 2019 and Dec. 1, 2020.
Selection is lottery-based with an application required. There is no cost to participate. Families will be responsible for transportation.

The lottery is open from Jan. 2 until Feb. 9. Seats are limited and placement is not guaranteed, the district said.
