$1K In Clothing Stolen From Melville Store: Police
Police say the man stole from a Walt Whitman Road store on Aug. 3.

MELVILLE, NY — Police are offering a reward for information identifying a man accused of stealing about $1,000 in clothing from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Melville.
According to police, the man took the merchandise from the store at 870 Walt Whitman Road around 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 3.
