Baby Formula Thief Strikes CVS
Suspect caught on camera taking baby formula, valued at nearly $600, from Huntington Station store.
Suffolk County Police are searching for the man who took 26 cans of baby formula Monday from the CVS on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station.
Police released photos of the man taken from surveillance cameras that caught him in the act. The cans, valued at nearly $600, were taken from the display, police said.
The suspect left the store without paying for merchandise and was seen getting into the passenger side of a black Infiniti four-door sedan.

Baby formula is a favorite target of shoplifting rings around the nation, according to the Food Marketing Institute. But Suffolk Police said they do not track such statistics locally.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
